Supreme Court of the Virgin Islands Sets Holiday Schedule

The Supreme Court of the Virgin Islands advises the general public and members of the Virgin Islands Bar that the court will recognize the following holiday schedule during the 2010-2011 Christmas and New Year’s season.
Territory-wide:
December 24 (Christmas Eve) — Both the St. Thomas and St. Croix offices will be closed. Employees will be granted administrative leave.
December 31 (New Year’s Eve) — Both the St. Thomas and St. Croix offices will be closed. Employees will be granted administrative leave.
January 3 — Both offices will be closed. Employees will be granted administrative leave.
January 6 (Three Kings Day) — Both offices will be closed in observance of Three Kings Day.
January 7 (Children’s Parade-St. Croix) — Both offices will be closed. Employees will be granted administrative leave.
St. Croix Offices Only:
January 4 — The St. Croix offices will be closed. Employees will be granted administrative leave.
January 5 (J’ouvert, and Festival Food, Arts and Crafts Fair) – The St. Croix offices will be closed. Employees will be granted administrative leave.
On all days designated as administrative leave, all filings will be accepted via a secured lockbox at the entrance of the Supreme Court’s premises at No. 161B Crown Bay, on St. Thomas, and No. 18 Strand Street, Frederiksted, St. Croix.
