Charlotte Amalie High School (CAHS) is embarking on a Wall of Fame project to honor and showcase the many alumni who have made significant contributions to the community in their chosen careers. “This monument will serve to inspire students to achieve at high levels and will provide role models for these students to emulate,” said Principal Carmen D. Howell.
The official unveiling ceremony will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 17, in the Ruth E. Thomas Auditorium. The theme for the program is “Honoring our Past, By Celebrating our Present, To Inspire our Future.”
The 2010 CAHS Wall of Fame inductees include, Dr. Charles W. Turnbull, Dr. Alfred O. Heath, Ruth E. Thomas, Ambassador Terence Todman, Judge Curtis Gomez, Austin “Babe” Monsanto, Edward Thomas, Alvin McBean, and posthumously, Emile “Milo” Francis and Dr. Melvin H Evans.
Principal Howell invites all CAHS alumni and other community members to the Wall of Fameinduction ceremony for these outstanding Virgin Islanders.
