Imogene M. Yasper Williams Dies at 76

Imogene M. Yasper Williams
Imogene Yasper Williams, also known as "Imo" or “Mama,” of Mon Bijou on Nov. 11 at Gov. Juan F. Luis Hospital. She was 76 years old.
She is survived by her spouse, Thomas Williams; daughter, Janice D. John; sons: Randolph Petersen Sr., Keithroy, Heskitt, Darryl and Darwen John; grandchildren: Danyna, Iyanna and Wayne Yasper, Rodney, Davon, Renee and Dwayne Petersen, Nakeda John, Keycia M. Duncan and Darius George Jr.; great-grandchildren: Rodney Jr. and Ahmad Petersen, Qwayne and Jadiah Yasper, Princess and Da’jon Yasper; sister, Lumis M. Yasper-Webb; and brother, Henry Francis. She is also survived by her uncle, George Rawlins; daughters-in-law: Angeline Yarwood, Danyel Johnson, Inez Bannis, Colettea Michael, Jaynice John and Curlis Belle; cousins and other relatives: the Rawlins family, the Lang family, the Williams family, Betty Tutein-Simmonds, the Lynch family, Lucinda and Darwin Schrader; special friends: Louisa Joseph, Winifred Jonas, Conrad and Genevie Orr, Mr. and Mrs. Theovald Slater, Pearl A. Morton, Avilia Millin, Rowena Stridiron, Jeseker Williams, Carmen M. Camacho-Ledesma and family; as well as other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
A viewing will take place at 9 a.m. and a funeral service at 10 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 26, at Holy Cross Episcopal Church, Upper Love. Interment will follow at Kingshill Cemetery.
