V.I. Water and Power Authority line crews are in areas throughout the territory making repairs of damages occurring as a result of Tropical Depression 17, according to a WAPA release issued Wednesday afternoon.
On St. Croix: Line crews will be dispatched throughout today and tonight to the following areas: Orange Grove (West), LBJ Gardens, Mt Pellier-West, Betsy Jewel, Grove Place, La Reine, Castle Coakley, Whim, Williams Delight, Two Williams, Mt. Pleasant, Shoys, La Grange, Butler Bay, Spring Garden, Northside, Nicholas, Frederickshaab, Wheel Of Fortune, Little Princess Hill, St. John, Grange Hill, Brookshill, Turner Hole, New Works, Bethlehem, and Mon Bijou. Customers with problems in other areas should call the line department at 773-0150 or 773-2250 extension 3056.
On St. John, line crews are working on a major problem in the Coral Bay area and anticipate power to be returned to that and other areas on St. John by tonight.
On St. Thomas, crews will continue to work in Kirwan Terrace, Crown and Hawk, the Northside, and Frenchman’s Bay areas. Crews will also address problems on Water Island.
