St. Croix police on Friday arrested 31-year-old Rudolph Henry Jr. and charged him with three counts of possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute, and eight counts of failure to report ammunition obtained outside or brought into the territory.
According to detectives from the Criminal Investigation Bureau, Henry was in possession of more than eight pounds of marijuana and an assortment of more than 250 live rounds, including .40 caliber, shotgun, .45 caliber, 9mm, .380 caliber rounds and a .45 caliber Glock magazine and a .25 caliber magazine.
The arrest stemmed from a domestic situation between Henry and a female who told police Henry assaulted her on July 27 at approximately 10:55 p.m. Police obtained a search and arrest warrant and discovered the items at Henry’s Williams Delight residence.
Also confiscated in the search were cash, a black ski mask and a chrome silencer.
Henry was arrested at about 7 p.m. Friday based on a warrant issued by V.I. Superior Court.
He was held on $25,000 bail and remanded to the Golden Grove Adult Correctional Facility pending further court action.
