Brief: Suspect Arrested, Charged in October Shooting

Andreas Miller, 26, was arrested before dawn Saturday on a warrant charging him in connection with an Oct. 18 shooting at the Ruby M. Rouse Housing Community.
Detectives from the Criminal Investigation Bureau executed the warrant just before 6 a.m. at an apartment in the Christiansted Housing Community.
Miller was charged with reckless endangerment in the first degree, first-degree assault, third-degree assault, unauthorized possession of a firearm, carrying or using a firearm during the commission of a crime of violence, and failure to register a firearm and or ammunition.
Police said Miller fired several shots in a public area, damaging a vehicle.
Bail was set at $125,000. Miller was remanded to the Golden Grove Correctional Facility pending further court action.
