Michael Felix Henry Dies at 71

Michael Felix HenryMichael Felix Henry also known as “Mike,” “Rabbit” or “Lape” of La Grande Princesse died on Oct. 8. He was 71 years old.

He is survived by his spouse, Frances Henry; daughters: Leonilla Ajani Smith, Theresa Felix, Ambrosine H. Lawrence, Michaelina J. and Brenda Henry; sons: Nicholas Felix, Albert, Clayton, Michael Jr. and Karim Henry Sr.; grandchildren: Anesha, Jamaul, Tishawn, Michael III, Jahquon, Elijah, Emmanuel, Jaheem, Karim Jr. and Daniella Henry, Shana Thomas, Aisha Ajani., Steven Felix, Anthony Jr., Crystal and Jason Pamphile and Chelsea Turnbull; and great-grandchildren: Dejanique Thompson, Jahniyah Parker, Azalae Mingo, Roshaine Pitts and Jamaul Henry Jr. He is also survived by daughters-in-law: Carmen, Mercedes and Monica Henry, and Finta Felix; sons-in-law: Tarcious Lawrence and Gabriel Smith; sisters: Mary Agna, Nicole Henry and Mary Pierre Louis; brothers: Basil, David, Rufus and Damian Henry, and Etienne Mathurin; nieces: Samantha , Shantel, Erica, Alberta, Omany, Gina, Zina, Barbara and Thelma; nephews: Delvin, Hilroy, Bernard, Johnathan, Zephrine and Elias Henry, and Hyacinth Phillip; great nieces: Andrea Pierre Louis, Khadijah Phillip and Cherissa Henry; and great nephews: Thorent Lewis, Keshawn Merchant, Tyrese Richards and Justin Henry. Other survivors include aunts: Shawl and Muriel Augustin, and Clarita Joseph; special friends: the Plaza Extra family, Avis Reid and family, Eulina Hamilton and family, Apple Construction and Thorvald McIntosh, Lucia Combie and family, Hilman Faucher and family, Claremina Mitchell and family, and Ubaltus Theophile; as well as other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
A viewing will be held at 10 a.m. and a funeral service at 11 a.m., on Saturday, Oct. 24, at The Faith A Flame Church, Estate Glynn. Interment will follow at Kingshill Cemetery.
