Dorothy Gertrude Harrigan Dies at 76

Dorothy Gertrude Harrigan

Dorothy Gertrude Harrigan, also known as “Trudy” or “Harry,” of Flambouyant Gardens died on Sept. 23. She was 76 years old.

She is survived by her former husband, Henry Harrigan; daughter, Anastasia Rivers; adopted daughters: Anna Harrigan and Elaine Harrigan; grandchildren: M’wathia Hector, Aesha Rivers, David Rivers Jr., Aesha, Luwa and Destany Nurse; great-grandchild, Kisura Smith; sister, Beryl Hodge; and brothers: Felix Gumbs, Frank, Franklin and Maxwell Govia. She is also survived by son-in-law, Raphael Bramble; special nieces: Avril Richardson and Frances Barry; special nephews: Albert Brooks and Curtis Frederick; cousins and other relatives: the Gumbs, Richardson, Hodge, Webster, Connor and Ruan families, and Vanterpool, Francis, Hughes, Bryan and Lake; special cousins: Gregory Francis, Navin Francis, Rita Hughes, Alva Hodge, Wilmot Lee, Violet Webster and Lenard Connor; special friends: Mr. and Mrs. Boyce, Sister Norman, Brother Harrigan, Yvette Cornwall, Sitnah Yarwood, Helena Vialet, the Jehovah Witness Congregation and Pearl Mitchell; as well as other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
A viewing will take place at 9 a.m. and a funeral service at 10 a.m.,
Monday, Oct. 5, at the Jehovah Witness Kingdom Hall, Estate Carlton. Interment will follow at Kingshill Cemetery.
