The Coalition to Save Lindbergh Bay asks people to show their support to stop the proposed dumping in Lindbergh Bay by attending an Eco Rally/fundraiser to be held from noon to 4 p.m., on Saturday, Aug. 8, on Lindbergh Bay beachside between Emerald Beach Resort and Island Beachcomber. The rally will include marine biologists, who will talk on the recent nesting of the endangered leatherback turtle mom that has been named "Lindy."
Celebrate the clear azure waters and beach with your entire family, listen to great live music, and enjoy delicious eats from the hotel bars and restaurants, Save The Bay T-shirts, and "Lucky Lindy" drinks and other beverages will be on sale. A portion of all proceeds from the hotel bars and restaurants as well as all proceeds from the T-shirt sales will be donated to help offset the Coalition’s legal fees. Environmental and neighborhood alliances are asked to come together and rally for clean seas. Embrace the solution to dispose of dredging spoils from the harbor in a sound and sea-friendly way. Show concern now and take action to save Lindbergh Bay and all turtle habitats. Now is the time to speak out against false choices that will damage the bay forever.
