Police Hunt For 36-Year-Old Escapee

March 6, 2009 — Virgin Islands Police are looking for Tyrone O. Powell, a 36-year-old St. Thomas man who escaped Wednesday following his arrest for possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute.
Powell, who is also known as Tiger, is 5 feet 5 inches tall, with a dark complexion, bald head and full beard with mustache.
He lives in Anna’s Retreat on St. Thomas but frequents St. John.
Anyone who knows the whereabouts of Powell or has seen him since his escape from custody can call 693-8880 and ask to speak to Police Officer Clarke at Zone D Command.
