Feb. 13, 2009 – James Adolphus Yarwood, also known as "Jamesesie," of Estate Sion Farm died on Feb. 7, at Gov. Juan F. Luis Hospital.
He is survived by his sisters: Leona Samuel and Rose Sheppard; brothers: Paul and Allen Yarwood; nieces: Renee Samuel, Natassia Fenton, Nicole Holmes and Jeniqua Yarwood. He is also survived by aunts: Winifred Duncan-Libert, Rose Hansen and Ann Yarwod; uncles: Rev. Wilfred and John De Grasse; special friends: Eulalie Pedersen, Gladys Rissing, Isabella Knight, Dr. Walter Pedersen and Rubio Samuel; sister-in-law, Agnes Yarwood; brothers-in-law: Rubio Samuel and Calvin Sheppard Sr.; and many other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
There will be a funeral service at 10:30 a.m., on Tuesday, Feb. 17, at Holy Cross Catholic Church, Christiansted. Interment will follow at Kingshill Cemetery.
