Feb. 13, 2009 – Bertram Milton Browne, also known as "Bert," of Estate Humbug died on Feb. 5, at his residence. He was 87 years old.
He is survived by his spouse, Dona Clara Browne; daughters: Elsia, Ronnel and Annette Browne; sons: Sydwin, Freto, Franklin, Sydwin, Milton, Walter, Kenneth, Arthur, Maurice and Ronald Browne; grandchildren: Shakira, Tulani, Shrivonne, Maurice, Anthony, Maria, Nathlie, Terrance, Naimah, Chevron, Djavad, Carlye, Tramar, Kyle, Shey and Peter; and 17 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by daughters-in-law: Mable, Robin, Evelyn, Arlene and Shelly; sisters: Nathlie, Maglin and Hettie; brothers: Noel and Jason; and other relatives too numerous to mention.
There will be a viewing at 9:30 a.m. and a funeral service at 10:30 a.m., on Friday, Feb. 13, at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, Frederiksted. Interment will follow at Kingshill Cemetery.
