Alphonso Urgent Jr. Dies at 68

Nov. 9, 2008 – Alphonso Urgent Jr. of Prince Street, Frederiksted, died on Oct. 29, at his residence. He was 68 years old.
He is survived by daughters: Patricia Urgent and Louise Urgent-Henry; sons: Cleve, Dennis, Jamal and Kimo Urgent; grandchildren: Kiasha, David, Nautica and Zaya Urgent, Maleik and Marcus Henry, Matia and Jaedin Urgent, Jennifer, Joshua and La'Shawn Sweeney; and great-grandchild, Abdul Garcia. He is also survived by sisters: Elaine and Claudia Urgent; brothers: Vincent Sr. and Melvin Urgent; sister-in-law, Esther M. Urgent; son-in-law, Sean Henry; aunts: Ann Johannes and Anna Johannes-Lindo; uncle, Leon Casey; special friends: Evelyn Miranda, Valarie Sibilly, Melody Milligan, Pascual Cruz, Larry Christian, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Schrader; and other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
There will be a viewing at 10 a.m., followed by a funeral service at 10:30 a.m., on Monday, Nov. 10, at St. Patrick's Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Kingshill Cemetery.
