One-Day Interruption of Some Services Planned by Labor Department

May 29, 2008 – There will be an interruption of services in the Workforce Development Offices to facilitate professional development, according to a press release from the Department of Labor. The following dates will be affected:
· St. Croix district from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., on Wednesday, June 4
· St. Thomas-St. John district from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., on Thursday, June 5
The interruption will only affect customers seeking training, employment services and youth services. All other areas will remain open for service to customers during normal operating hours. The resource labs will also remain available to our customers.
Commissioner of Labor Albert Bryan Jr. apologizes for any inconvenience this action may cause and thanks the public for their patience and cooperation.
