Nov. 20, 2007 – The Virgin Islands Carnival Committee proudly presents its theme for Carnival 2008: "A Cultural Escape for 2008." The winning theme was submitted anonymously by Athniel "Addie" Ottley, who won the most votes of over 100 entries.
For his winning entry, Ottley will receive one season pass for all events hosted by the Virgin Island Carnival Committee and have his name and theme appear in all historic Carnival 2008 documents.
