Nov. 7, 2007 – Selwyn Manbodh Jr., also known as "Nene" or "Lazaro," of White Bay, Frederiksted, died on Nov. 4, at the Gov. Juan F. Luis Hospital. He was 25 years old.
He is survived by his wife, Meisy Bastardo; mother, Carmen Diaz; father, Selwyn Manbodh Sr.; stepmother, Paulina Brache; stepfather, Soe Diaz; daughters: Giovonnyaliz Marie, Sashaliz and Sophia Soe Manbodh; and son, Selwyn Manbodh III. He is also survived by grandparents: Leonor and Oscar Asencio, and Dhaniram and Basdai Manbodh; sisters: Lisa Manbodh-Rivera and Sasha E. Manbodh-Charlemagne; stepsisters: Katiliany Diaz-Rhobes, Marilem Diaz and Krizia Diaz; aunts: Chandra, Pasty, Sandra and Sintra Manbodh, Maria Diaz, Nayda Feliciano, Mercedes White and Awilda Ayala; uncles: Franklin, Kelvin and Narish Manbodh; and many other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
There will be a viewing held from 10-11 a.m., on Friday, Nov. 9, at the Iglesia Bautisha Casa de Dios, in Catherine's Rest. A funeral service will follow at 11 a.m., at the church. Interment will be at Frederiksted Cemetery.
