Nov. 3, 2007 – E. Elton Trotman Sr., also known as "Ty," of Estate Nadir died on Nov. 2, at his residence. He was 61 years old.
He is survived by his wife, Lydia Harley-Trotman; sons: Elton Trotman Jr. and Shaun Trotman; daughter-in-law, Jennifer Trotman; grandchildren: Isaiah and Jaden Trotman; and step-grandchild, Micha. He is also survived by sisters: Inger Francis, Gwendolyn Flood, Mercedes Hodge, Zeathea Milliner, Ellery Gumbs, Maureen Mercer, Sharon Roan and Jean Trotman; brothers: Olman and Gregory Connell, Leander Trotman Jr., Allison Trotman Sr., and Alvares and Malvern Trotman, as well as many other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
A viewing will be held from 5-7 p.m., on Thursday, Nov. 8, at Davis Funeral Home Chapel. A second viewing will take place from 9-10 a.m., on Friday, Nov. 9, at Sts. Peter and Paul Church. It will be followed by a funeral service, at 10 a.m., at the church. Interment will be at Western Cemetery No. 1.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Charlotte Kimelman Cancer Center.
