Prosser Does It Again

Dear Source:
Has anyone noticed that without formally notifying existing customers, Innovative cut "basic" cable service from 37 channels to 22. They eliminated 14 "entertainment" channels (23,24,25,26,27,29,31,31,33,39,45,47,48,55,64). They eliminated the weather channel (was ch. 21) which is of the up most importance to Virgin Islanders and changed ch 39 to a religious channel.
Of the 22 channels remaining, only 7 can be considered "entertainment" channels (2,6,7,8,9,11,13), plus the TV guide channel (ch. 3). Three are religious (I don't think that even religious people would consider them "entertainment"), two are home shopping networks, two are in Spanish, four are local government promo or informational, and two are national government informational.
The cutback was so secretive that when I called customer (dis)service on the following Monday, they scheduled a repair visit to "check out" the problem (scheduled for a week and a half later–but never showed).
Where is the outcry? Where are the government agencies that are supposed to oversee these things? I have been told that people who have tried to upgrade their service, to regain the lost coverage, were informed that there were no cable upgrade boxes available.
