Brief: Water Interruption Slated for Friday

Sept. 20, 2007 — Water service for parts of St. Croix will be interrupted from 1 to 5 p.m. Friday while technicians install a master meter on a 12-inch mainline at Estate St. George, the V.I. Water and Power Authority said in a statement Thursday.
Customer affected include those between the Estate Paradise and West Airport Road intersections on Queen Mary Highway, in estates Mount Pleasant and St. George and in the vicinity of Contractor’s Concrete and Plaza West.
The new meter is expected to held WAPA hold down water line loss. For more information, call the water department at 773-3775
