Aug. 17, 2007 – The Department of Education and Harcourt Publishing are sponsoring the Language Arts Summer Institute for elementary school language arts teachers and school administrators. The two-day institute will be held at the Marriott's Frenchman's Reef and Morning Star Beach Resort (Seaside Rooms I and II) from Aug. 22-23. The sessions will run from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day, according to a press release from the Insular Superintendent of the St. Thomas-St. John School District Lisa Hassel-Forde.
Hassel-Forde further advises secondary school administrators and English teachers of a change in venue for their upcoming Language Arts Summer Institute. The institute will take place at the Wyndham Sugar Bay Resort from Aug. 22-23. All sessions will run from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
