Elton René Dies at 76

July 11, 2007 – Elton René of Estate Whim, Frederiksted died on July 4 at Gov. Juan F. Luis Hospital, at age 76.
He is survived by his wife: Nina René, daughters: Arlene and Glenys; sons: Kurt and Michael; grandchildren: Kirsten, Krystal, Desmond Jr., Cadilla, Nicole, Michael Jr., Tiffany and Dominique; adopted grandchildren: Tracey, Nicole and Branda; and great grandchild, Delita Nina. He is also survived by brothers: Franklin, George and Daitts; and many other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
There will be a viewing at 10:30 a.m., on Thursday, July 12, at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, Frederiksted. A funeral service will follow at 11:30 a.m., at the church. Interment will be at Frederiksted Cemetery.
Professional services are entrusted to James Memorial Funeral Home Inc.
