Brief: Traffic and Parking Restrictions Set for Emancipation Activities

June 28, 2007 — Traffic and parking will be restricted in Frederiksted beginning Friday night for Emancipation festivities, according to a news release from the V.I. Police Department.
From 10 p.m. Friday until the end of scheduled activities, no parking will be permitted in the lot between the Oscar Henry Building (Old Custom House) and the UCA Building.
Vehicles parked in prohibited areas will be ticketed or towed at the owner’s expense, police say.
