March 21, 2007 – The Ritz Carlton donated their new restaurant on the beach, Sails, for a fundraiser to benefit two world-class medallists, Cy Thompson and Anthony Kotoun, who are beginning their Olympic campaign for China in 2008.
The Virgin Islands Sailing Team's guests were treated to an amazing array of 15 different hors d'oeuvres created specially for this event. Kotoun gave a presentation of exciting on-screen footage of the 49er skiff in action. He then spoke about their goals, challenges and the difficulties of mounting an Olympic campaign.
