AZ Academy is a small, accredited private school on St. Croix with a current enrollment of 110 students in grades pre-K through grade 12. The school's mission is to develop the genius within every child by incorporating multi-sensory teaching strategies through small group instruction. The program is continuously evolving, but primary goals are to foster physical, emotional, social and intellectual growth. Limiting class sizes to 10 students in grades 1 thru 6 allows individualized instruction, with the understanding that every child has a unique learning style. Thanks to the support of the St. Croix community, AZ Academy has been able to provide about 30 percent of the students with some financial aid or scholarships. This gives children an opportunity to become part of a community and learn in a safe environment.
