Liliane Ferrer Fombrun Dies in Miami

Feb. 20, 2007 — Liliane Ferrer Fombrun 81, died on Dec. 26, in Miami after suffering a devastating stroke. She is survived by her daughters, Yanick Bayard and her husband Patrick of St. Thomas, Lilian Fombrun and Carlyne Scorza of Miami; grandchildren, Danika and Dax Bayard, Pierre and Brittany Gademer, Sophia Gable, and Renata Scorza; nieces, nephews, relatives and close friends.
Liliane lived in Haiti, until 1957. She then lived in Puerto Rico, Cuba, New York and Jamaica before moving to St. Thomas.
She and husband Lionel lived in Hull Bay on St. Thomas from 1963 to 1994, where they ran their insurance business until their retirement in Miami. Liliane loved to cook for family and friends, was very spiritual and prayed the rosary daily. The Funeral service was held in Miami on Dec. 30. A memorial mass will be held on St. Thomas.
