What's Up Next on the Doug Lewis Show

Sept. 26, 2006 – Tune into the Doug Lewis Show on WVGN 107.3 FM from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 1. This Sunday we will feature Bonnie Raitt, Joe Giacoia, Wild Child Butler, Harmony Dem, The Beatles and more.
The Modern Music Feature CD is the new live release from Bonnie Raitt, and it's titled "Bonnie Raitt and Friends." It includes appearances of great guests such as Keb Mo and Ben Harper. The concert was originally recorded for airing on VH-1.
The Indie Spotlight CD is "I Sing the Body Acoustic" by a fine new singer-songwriter named Joe Giacoia.
We celebrate the birthdays of blues great Albert Collins, Jerry Martini of Sly and the Family Stone, and blues artist Wild Child Butler. We also remember Bruce Palmer of the Buffalo Springfield on the anniversary of his death.
We include music from Harmony Dem, who will be among the artists appearing at October Sunday on Oct. 22, at Magens Bay Beach. All proceeds benefit the Family Resource Center. ,
We play new music from the Two High String Band, Omar and the Howlers, Lambchop, Jeff Healey and more.
We also include music from Al Stewart, Taj Mahal, Deborah Coleman, the Beatles, Hot Rize, Janis Ian and more.

Tune in for a chance to win a CD sampler from the Derek Trucks Band, and a sampler from Kacy Jones tribute CD to the songs of Mickey Newbury.
