Salt River National Park Visitor Station Opens

Jan. 18, 2006 — The National Park Service has opened its visitor center at Salt River Bay. Days of operation are Monday, Wednesday and Friday between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m.
Eastern National, who serves America's National Parks, will have cultural and historical material available for sale. Also park rangers will provide educational tours. Admission to the visitor center is free of charge.
Take route 75 north to Estate Morning Star then route 80 west to Salt River Marina and off to the Columbus Landing Site Beach. The visitor station is located west on the hill top National Park Service signs will direct visitors to the station.
