Historic Preservation Holds Excessive Noise Meeting

Jan. 11, 2006 – Commissioner Dean C. Plaskett, Esq., of the Department of Planning and Natural Resources announced that the Virgin Islands State Historic Preservation Office would host a public meeting on the issue of excessive noise and music emanating from establishments in the historic neighborhoods of Charlotte Amalie.
The forum will be held on Friday, Jan. 13, at 5:30 p.m., in the conference room of the State Historic Preservation Office located at No. 17 Kongens Gade on Government Hill.
This forum is sponsored and conducted by the Strength-to-Strength Cultural Center, a community-based non-profit organization.
