St. Patrick's School Alumni Fundraising Gala

Aug. 29, 2005 – St. Patrick's Catholic School Alumni Association plans to honor distinguished alumni, a community leader and a local business for their outstanding contributions to the school and the community at an awards ceremony and banquet. "They have all made a difference and are excellent role models in their areas of expertise. St. Patrick's is blessed to have their continued support throughout the years," said Dr. Catherine Milligan-Terrell, president of the alumni association.
The Honorees will be:
Virginia and Reginald George
Luz Lugo-Melendez and Pacquito Melendez
Dr. Mavis Matthew
Reverend George Franklin
The St. Patrick Choir
Special Honorees are:
Delegate to Congress Donna Christiansen
V.I. Rum Industries

St. Patrick School has been an institution of higher learning for more than a century in the town of Fredriksted. The alumni association is appealing to the public to help the 139-year old Catholic institution continue its excellent service to the community by supporting this gala fundraiser.
According to a press release from the school's alumni association, the fundraiser is set for Sunday, Oct. 9, at 5:30 p.m. This year the event will be held at the Divi Carina Bay Resort and Casino. There will be a silent auction, music, food, door prizes and much more. The donation is $60 per person.
