Fishing Regulation Desperately Needed

This article should have been titled "V.I. Loses First Round in Fishing Fight". It's doesn't take a rocket scientist to know that the fishing stocks around the islands are grossly depleted. The local fisherman are as shortsighted as the local government. As it stands now, any fish taken from a fish trap never returns to the water regardless of size or species. As an active diver I can tell you first hand that there are very few fish on the
reefs surrounding St. Thomas. Regulation is desperately needed.
