Steve Simon and the Jazz Islanders at Paradise Point Thursdays

Dec. 7, 2004 – Steve Simon and The Jazz Islanders, one of the top Jazz bands in the Caribbean, are now performing every Thursday evening on St. Thomas at Paradise Point from 7:00 pm to 11:00 pm.
"Paradise Point is truly one of the most spectacular spots on St. Thomas and we are thrilled to have been invited to turn it into a Jazz club every Thursday evening," said Steve Simon.
Known throughout the world for his Jazz in the Moonlight concert series, Steve Simon is also one of the most exciting Jazz recording artists on the music scene today. Combining the grooves of Smooth Jazz with his love for Latin and R&B, Steve has been playing to standing room only audiences at his Sunday Jazz Jams on St. John for years.
Steve’s band includes Jazz legend Joe Ramsay on sax, Cliff Finch on bass, Jeff Minnieweather on drums and, the "Queen of Caribbean Jazz" Sally Smith on keyboard.
"Combining the incredible sounds of the Caribbean’s most famous Jazz band with the magnificence and beauty of St. Thomas’s own Paradise Point is a Jazz lover’s dream come true," stated Murray Pridham, General Manager of Paradise Point.
Come and enjoy St. Thomas’s newest Jazz Club at Paradise Point on Thursday nights and then sit back and listen to some of the most talented Jazz musicians in the entire Caribbean.
