August 14, 2004 – Playoff games to decide the standings for the St. Croix Flag Football League begin Sunday, Aug. 15, at 5 p.m.
Second-place Stallions play the Warriors and then the first-place Knightz play the Panthers at 7 pm.
In action last Sunday, the Knightz managed to hold onto first place even though they lost to the Stallions. If the Stallions could have won by more than eight points they could have claimed first place, but they won by three, 19 to 16.
Eric Flynn for the Stallions made the first touchdown of the day with a punt return.
Stallions. Steve Hutchins passed to Danley McIntosh for second score, making it 12 to 0.
Then the Knightz Delani Ford passed to Howard Brown for the Knightz first score.
Stallions scored their third touchdown when Sherwin Clainmont intercepted a pass.
The Knightz made a late push with a long pass to Kirby McIntosh, which allowed Ford to run in for a touchdown.
