PSC to Open Office Part-time on St. John

Aug. 3, 2004 – The Public Services Commission will open its St. John office next week with Lucinda Jurgen as the complaint specialist, the PSC's executive director, Keithley Joseph, said on Tuesday.
The PSC will be sharing space with the Licensing and Consumer Affairs Department at the Battery.
Jurgen will be on hand from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays to hear complains about the ferry service, the Water and Power Authority, Innovative Cable TV, and Innovative Telephone, all of which the PSC regulates.
Jurgen, a St. John resident, previously worked at the Tourism Department office on St. John. Assistant Tourism Commissioner Monique Sibilly-Hodge said that office now has rotating staff.
The PSC is still waiting for the telephone lines for the office to be hooked up. Until then, those wishing to contact the commission can call the DLCA number, 693-8036, or the St. Thomas PSC office, at 776-1291.
