July 15, 2004 – Jose Luis Carrillo of Estate Clifton Hill died on Tuesday, July 13, at Juan F. Luis Hospital. He was 81.
Viewing will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 21, at Holy Cross Catholic Church, with services to follow there at 11 a.m. Burial will be in Kingshill Cemetery.
Carrillo is survived by his sons Jose Luis Carrillo Jr. and Pedro "Ras Ifuma Bomani" Carrillo; his stepson Carl E.B.Lovgren; his daughter Josefa Esthel Louise Carrillo; grandsons Jose Luis Carrillo III and Sher'ron T. Carrillo; granddaughters Linda E. Carrillo, Monifa S. Carrillo and Melanie K.T. Osorio Navarro de Byron; great-grandsons Jelani Joseph, Nickolai Carrillo and Jevante Terrell; and great-granddaughters Bryanna Bryan and Sydeajah Carrillo.
Also surviving are a special friend, Julia Concepcion; brothers Juan Soto and Rafael Soto; sister Carmen Espada; nieces Maria E. Soto, Graciela Soto, Ana C. Soto de Brown, Angelita Soto, Grisselle Soto de Mitchelle, Lola Soto and Betsy Espada; nephews Juan Antonio Soto, Carlos Soto, Rafael Soto, Nelson Espada, Candido Espada and Vito Soto; and other relatives and friends.
