Flags to Fly at Half Staff to Honor Paiewonsky

June 21, 2004 – Gov. Charles W. Turnbull has ordered flags in the Virgin Islands to be flown at half staff in memory of former Sen. Michael Albert Paiewonsky, who died June 16 in Puerto Rico.
The flags were already slated to fly at half mast until July 5 in honor of former Present Ronald Reagan. Turnbull, who had returned from off-island over the weekend, made the announcement in a press release Monday.
