June 6, 2004- The V. I. Housing Authority is accepting registrations for its annual Youth Summer Program available to public housing residents, between the ages of six and 13. The program starts on July 6 and ends on Aug. 6. Daily hours are from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the following communities:
Marley Homes and Additions, Ralph DeChabert, John F, Kennedy Terrace, Nicasio Nico Apartments, Aureo Diaz Heights, Williams Delight Villas, Walter I.M. Hodge Pavilion, and Candido Guadalupe Terrace
This program is designed to provide participants with five weeks of educational enrichment, introduction to computer literacy, arts and crafts, steel pan clinic and field trips.
Registration forms can be obtained from the housing manager's office in the communities. Registration fee is $20 per child, payable to the V.I. Housing Authority.
Space is limited and registration forms will be accepted on a first come, first serve basis. Registration deadline is. June 18. For information, contact the community services specialist, or Jean Nesbitt-Matthew or resident services supervisor, at 713-2365.
