April 26, 2004 – The Fort Christian Museum on Wednesday, April 28, during four hours, will have free admission to two, special exhibits.
Special exhibits presently on display include:
l."The Interior of a Danish West Indian Home," featuring 19th and 20a century Mahogany furniture, accented with a handcrafts and a doll display featuring Fort Christian by Gwendolyn Harley.
2. An exhibition entitled "From Head-to-Toe: Caribbean Head Ties and Cultural Wear of the Caribbean" to include the Virgin Islands, Dominica, Guadeloupe, and Martinique by Bradley Christian.
The museum will be open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. From noon until 4 p.m. admission will be free. For information, contact the museum at (340) 776-4566.
Fort Christian Museum will be closed all day on Thursday, April 29. The museum will resume operations on Monday, May 3.
