ROAD WORK SCHEDULED AT 3 AREAS ON ISLAND

Feb. 26, 2004 – Public Works Department road crews will be at work on reconditioning, resurfacing and drainage improvement projects at several St. Croix locations on Friday and Monday.
On Friday, the department will be working on roads in Campo Rico starting in the vicinity of Villa Morales, according to a Government House release issued on Thursday.
On Monday, a second release stated, work on East End roads damaged in last November's heavy rains and flooding will begin on Route 82 from the St. Croix Yacht Club to the American Legion Hall.
Also on Monday, construction is to get under way on a series of concrete swales to improve the drainage in Estates Rattan and Little Princesse. While this work proceeds, motorists are asked to use caution driving along Route 74 toward the 5 Corners gas station.
