CYCLING FEDERATION ANNOUNCES RACE RESULTS

Feb. 9, 2004 — The V.I. Cycling Federation held its second race of the season on Sunday, Feb. 8 on the East End of St.Croix. Thirty athletes attended the race, which was 13 miles for the sport and expert categories and 26 miles for the elite category.
The skies were clear yet very windy, making for challenging conditions. Jamie Keys won the elite category, Glenn Massiah won the expert category, and newcomer Cumber Greaux won the sport category.
VICF will hold its third race on Feb. 22, a two-person time trial on the airport loop.
For more information about the VICF, contact Gabe Webber at 277-3854.
