ELECTIONS BOARD TO MEET ON ISLAND

Feb. 2, 2004 – The Joint Board of Elections will meet Feb. 19 at the Legislature building in St. John. The meeting will begin at 10 a.m.
Elections supervisor John Abramson Jr. said the board has met in St. John several times before. "We rotate our meetings every quarter," he said.
Although the agenda is not yet finalized Abramson said the meeting will include topics such as election reform, rules and regulations, the Help America Vote program, and housekeeping matters.
Abramson anticipated that the meeting would run for much of the day since it includes staff presentations.
