FUNERAL IS JAN. 24 FOR MAVIS PENN FRANCIS

Jan. 17, 2004 — Mavis Penn Francis of the British Virgin Islands and St. Thomas died Jan. 13 at the age of 73 at the Roy L. Schneider Hospital.
The first viewing will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Friday, Jan. 23, at the Davis Funeral Home Chapel. The second viewing will be from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 24, at Christchurch Methodist, Market Square, followed by the funeral service at 10:30 a.m. Burial will be in Western Cemetery No. 3.
She is survived by her husband, Olva Francis; son, Albert Francis; stepson Alliston Francis; brothers, Carl, Richard, Gafford, Charles Jr., James, Cecil, Franklyn and William Penn; sisters, Vadis Frett, Eleanor Parrilla, Ileta David, Almida Stapleton, Caroline Blackwood, Bianca Creque, Rueel Smith, Susan Penn and Kittie Grant; brothers-in-law, Burnett Frett, Louis Parrilla, Sen. Roosevelt David, Clinton Creque and Pastor Keith Grant; sisters-in-law, Emma, Erlys, Sonia Elaine and Louvina Penn; uncle, Prince Venzen; aunts, Violet and Othelia Stevens, Gracalia Leondard, Ena Frett, Delita O'Connor and Kathleen Venzen; grandchild, Mia Francis; and many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
Arrangements are by the Davis Funeral Home.
