YEAR'S FIRST 2 LOTTERY DRAWINGS DELAYED A WEEK

Jan. 5, 2004 – The V.I. Lottery drawing scheduled for Thursday has been postponed a week until Jan. 15. And the drawing after that, which had been set for Jan. 22, will instead be held on Jan. 29.
Paul Flemming, V.I. Lottery director, announced the changes on Monday, in a Government House release saying they were being made "to accommodate the lottery dealers and the playing public following closings due to the Christmas holidlays and the [Crucian] Festival activities."
