This Sunday the St. Croix Landmarks Society will presents a Ruins Ramble at Estate Butler Bay, Sunday, Dec. 21 at 3:30 p.m.
Featuring a historical interpretation by George Tyson, the event will give participants a guided tour of one of the best preserved plantations on St. Croix, complete with greathouse, waterworks, and hidden ruins.
Meeting place: Estate Butler Bay entrance on Route 63, two miles north of Frederiksted. Look for the stone entrance pillars and blue sign.
Conditions: Moderate hike, shorts and walking shoes.
Admission: $12 (SCLS Members $8). $6 (Students). Refreshments served after the hike.
