Dec. 16, 2003 – The Public Works Department has relocated the "white goods" trash bin in Cotton Valley, according to a Government House release.
The East End receptacle for used appliances, furniture and other large items has been moved to the inside of the fenced bin collection area.
The release also noted that other "white goods" bins on St. Croix are located at Peter's Rest, Mon Bijou and Estate Concordia.
Since the Christmas season is a time when people often acquire new appliances and furniture, Public Works Commissioner Wayne Callwood reminded the public that old items of this type should be disposed of properly at the designated bins. More information is available by calling the Anguilla landfill office at 778-1231.
