Oct. 30, 2003 – The Water and Power Authority will be trimming tree branches to keep them from interfering with electrical lines on Saturday in four sections of St. Croix:
– From Bassin Triangle to Southgate (Feeder 2).
– From the Sunny Isle WAPA business office to Queens Quarter (Feeder 3).
– From the Sunny Isle WAPA business office to Estate Barren Spot (Feeder 4).
– From La Grande Princesse to Morningstar Hill (Feeder 10).
The work will take place between 7 a.m. and 4 p.m., according to a WAPA release distributed on Thursday.
"No interruption of power is anticipated," the release stated. "To ensure the safety of the WAPA crews and the motoring public," WAPA asked that drivers use caution in approaching areas where the work is under way.
