GOVERNOR'S CHRISTMAS PARTY FOR CHILDREN

Dec. 12, 2002 – Gov. Charles W. Turnbull will host the traditional children's Christmas parties on each island during the coming week.
St. Croix's party will be from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 15, at the LaReine Shopping Center in Kingshill. Food and drinks will be available, and gifts for children up to age 10 will be distributed. Christmas will come early for a lucky young person, as youths between the ages of 11 and 14 will be eligible to win a male or female bicycle, to be raffled during the event.
The governor urges parents to accompany their children to the parties.
