YOUTH CRIME AND DRUG PREVENTION DIALOGUE SET

Dec. 10, 2002 – The second part of the Youth Crime and Drug Prevention Dialogue is set for parents and youth Saturday morning, Dec. 14, at Chase Auditorium on the University of the Virgin Islands campus.
Staff members from both the territorial and federal criminal justice system will be making presentations. The session will be held from 9 a.m. to noon. The Chase Auditorium is in the business building on the upper campus.
The dialogue is aimed at assisting with parents lessening the chances of their children getting involved with crime, drug and destructive behavior. The St. Thomas Baseball Explorers' parents and youth, as well as residents of the PMP Gardens Cooperative, Inc., are participating in this event.
The program is sponsored by Beyond Visions Foundation and the St. Thomas Baseball Explorers, Inc., in collaboration with the Law Enforcement Planning Commission and the Paul M. Pearson Gardens Housing Cooperative.
