Funeral services for Arnold "Smitty" Adolphus Smith, age 80, who died Aug. 18, will be held at 12 noon at Bethany Moravian Church, St. John. First viewing will be from 6 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 23, at Creque Funeral Chapel, second viewing 11 a.m. until 12 noon at Bethany Moravian Church, St. John. Internment will be at Bethany Moravian Church Cemetary.
Arnold Smith is survived by his wife Iva Frett Smith; sons Franklin and Leslie Smith; daughters Patricia and Theresa Smith; brothers Zephaniah, Alonzo, and Josephus Fahie; nephews Humphrey Herman and Carl Birch; sisters Ena Gordon, Lucia Dalmida, Kathleen Wilke and Beatrich Callwood; several good friends; and seven grandchildren.
