KING TO ADDRESS MONUMENT MANAGEMENT

Newly appointed V.I. National Park Superintendent John King will address the monthly luncheon meeting of the League of Women Voters of the Virgin Islands on Monday, March 5.
King, who started work at the park in early December, recently released for public review the draft commercial services plan for the park.
However, his talk Monday is expected to focus on the management plan for the submerged lands around the Virgin Islands that were designated national monuments in January by President Bill Clinton as he was leaving office.
As always, the general public is invited to attend the luncheon, which begins at 12 noon at Chickie's Place in Frenchtown.
