RAMON 'MONCHE' ENCARNACION DEAD AT 82

Ramon Encarnacion Sr., known as "Monche" to his friends, of La Grande Princesse, died Saturday, Feb. 10 at Juan F. Luis Hospital. He was 82.
A first viewing will be from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 15 at James Memorial Funeral Home.
Funeral services will held at 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 16 at Holy Cross Catholic Church, with a viewing beginning at 10 a.m.
Burial will follow at Christiansted Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Juanita Encarnacion; daughters, Edna Encarnacion, Lydia Encarnacion, and Carmen Burgos; sons, Ramon Jr., Pedro "Willy", Rodolfo "Rudy," and Roberto "Beco" Encarnacion; grandchildren, Jose, Eduardo, Omar, Rubi, Rodolfo Jr., Ithamar, Omyra, and Roberto Encarnacion Jr., Damaris, Alexis, Marissa, Fernanado, and Wandalee Melendez, Elizabeth, Maria, Liza, and Tanairi Suarez, Clarissa, and Martin Burgos Jr.; step-grandchildren, Juan, Jose, and Delia Burgos; and 16 great-grandchildren.
He is also survived by his sisters, Eulogia Llanos, Marie Alejandro; brothers, Candido, Evaristo, and Antonio Encarnacion; adopted son, Juan F. Luis Juanchin; daughters-in-law, Nilsa and Emma Encarnacion, Carmen Perez, and Maria Borque; son-in-law, Martin Burgos; sisters-in-law, Nereida Principe, Nilsa Baird, and Ines Encarnacion, Andres, Jr., and Nester Marrero; many nieces and nephews; and numerous friends and relatives.
Funeral arrangements are in the care of James Memorial Funeral Home.
